I understand this is a rare magazine adapted from earlier Type 1 or 2 mag for use with Mk7 ammo when introduced in 1910. Not sure of the age, curved base on this one is reminiscent of the Lee Metford or MLE mag. It has a rotating feed lip on the right side and a riveted one on the left and is in very good condition for age.
Last one I can find online sold at auction for £95 in the UK, so I've advertised it for £100 posted. Not had much interest though, so maybe I'm optimistic. Any thoughts? |
