we had the flurries of little bitty fluffy stuff - no accumulation at all , but its starting again , around us had more - seems its getting on to witer again here ,
i will add my two thumbs up to "rather be here than there " where the hurricane hit , seems my namesake did a bit of damage and took a good number of lives , i feel this is getting too much political play to garner votes in the midterms and not near enough honest journalistic coverage that might actually inspire help , but then what can we expect from the hack reporters with an agenda - and they wonder why we pay so little attention or give them any credibility ......i have no respect for the press anymore at all ,

But you must watch our tv news (to make our ratings go up) so you can be safe. It's bad watch watch. But good news our weather here i n Fla was only a high of 88 degrees F yesterday. Today they said 90F. Last week 97 for 2 days and 96 for two days. Hope that our high will get below 90 and stay there for a while. Also the low for the day was down to 80 F. When I lived in Minn we normally looked forward to a Thanksgiving and light snow flurries during the week. Later 42rocker |

25°C in Paris today; still feels like summer, which is not normal! also serious flooding in the south of the country, causing 11 deaths. Worst hit areas had around 6" of rain in 6 hours!

I happened to be in Paris for 3 days last week, my first time in the city. It was beautiful weather and I had time to see some of sights. The Eiffel Tower was quite impressive, especially at night. Also climbed up to the top of the towers of Notre Dame, also an impressive place.

Monday here in Tampa Bay area, Fla we set another record 93F. Hope to see high 80's some time this week. At night our low is still been above 80. A few days of this is ok but this has been records now for a while. I'm sure my sister in law from Maplewood, Minn will be happy about the weather when she gets here in a few days. Paris - a city that I've enjoyed a few times. Your weather sounds good to me. To take the 2 elevators to the top of the Eiffel tower and enjoy the sunset and then take the elevator down and walk the rest of the way enjoying the fabric of the tower. I've only been to Paris in the summer would like to go in the fall/winter sometime. Last time my wife and I spent 2 weeks there. Enjoy Life Later 42rocker

Britrifles; you chose a good time to visit; the weather has been good this month. Too good probably!
Notre Dame is very impressive.
If your business brings you back this way. Let me know; could maybe find time for a beer. |

Weather update, Tampa Bay area, Fla yesterday, 11/08/2018 the high was 86F. At least it was not 97F. And I was just talking about the far North area of Minnesota with someone on another site, International Falls, Minnesota. Don't want all of that cold back but some would be nice. Try to Enjoy the outside whatever the weather this weekend and remember Veterans Day on Monday. Later 42rocker

normal average high today would be +42 , i think we got all the way to +20 , at noon it was a whiteout blizzard but we had sun before and after , i hate this time of year ........just sayin , |

Whats funny to me is that when I lived in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, snow before Thanksgiving was unheard of. Snow Flurries maybe on Thanksgiving. Light stuff gone in a few hours or worst case by noon following day. A square 10 I'll try to send some heat your way Please send down some colder weather. Of course different everywhere, our son left Atlanta, Ga area and going to be in South Caroline Camping (LOL) in a tent and he said they were looking at 28F ish overnight. To be young again. Later 42rocker I guess that I should add it was still 87F in my work area at 9:00pm. I still got some brass resized and primers removed.
