The scope bracket is one of Dr. Roger Payne's remarkable bracket from the 1990s.

I think he did another run early this year but they have not hit the market and I would not be surprised if they are up to $500 this time.

Is that a standard sling?  Looks different.

Really nice weapons, MJ11!

The No4T uses a different (target) sling, to the standard No4 sling.

From memory it is a US M1907 1903 pattern sling

Its certainly similar, but I've never seen one that isn't leather?
There's also a length difference by the look of that.
The swivels on a Lee Enfield are almost 3" further apart than the '03 series or the M-1, so a standard one would be way too short even if latched into the last hole! Might it be an " L42a1 sling NSN: 1005-99-132-3199"?

The end fittings are different on the L42A1 (well they are on mine) - they are 'solid hooks' rather that the two small hooks as per those on MJ's picture.

It was the only sling i ha available till this weekend when I have three new Enfield web slings coming in.

I prefer the standard web sling. I have two of the nylon L42 slings and a bunch of 1907s but at twelve pounds the 07 and the L42 just dig into me.

Thank you for the comment.

Interesting.
I think I'll stick with yy Ching slig. It really works well with the 3rd sling swivel.
