This matching Faz. #4/Mk 1 cocks and shoots, extracts in the normal manner.

Having never wanted to disassemble the small pieces of any gun, I'll take the rifle to the gun smith this Friday, although it's doubtful that even this very experienced gent would be able to spot which part or substitute part was installed the wrong way, and how.

The only symptom of the rough interface between the bottom of the bolt and the bottom of the action is that when first squeezing the trigger, the bolt goes all the way forward, then refuses to rotate.

The lug and the cocking piece scrape over the part which seems to extend the normal, small distance above the action. Please pardon my lack of correct terminology.

The tiny bit of extension/angle look exactly like the amount in my other Faz. #4/Mk. 1.
If this bit of friction when closing is not a symptom of any safety problem of unwanted metal wear, then it won't matter. I'm a shooter, not a true collector.

No. The Longbranch was traded for this standard Faz. at the gun show here last weekend.

So far I've done nothing to the Enfields.
