My winter problem is having a large tree fall across the fence in the back of the house , Stan and Doobie just cleaned up the one that had fallen before , and we were all talking about the tree that just fell, it was leaning towards the fence, but we thought we could take it down later ... we it fell day before yesterday !!!  I was getting a beer out the fridge on the screen porch when it came down... freaked the horses and cows out, they were on the north property and all bolted and ran.....   Sad thing is, Stan will be gone for about 3 weeks or so for training , so I wont have help to move it ...Oh well at least I dont have the critters in that pasture at this time ..... as for the cold, its been off and on here, down to 41*f last week end, then back up to T-shirt weather !!! and now back down, I would have to go to the brew house and check the temp, Dont have any Thermometers here on the house !!  We slept in the guest room last night just to see how it sleeps , not bad, but you have to go out side to get back into my house since the guest room does not have access to the inside of the house .. and it was a bit cold, I will need to insulate the floor for sure !!!   Speaking of tractors, I was just given a round bail mover to put on the 3 point hitch of my tractor, and I got to use it, had to get my son to come ride on the front to counter balance the tractor!!  LOL!! The wife would not do that !!!  At least we were able to get the bale out to the front pasture, its been terribly wet here this winter!!!
