I want one. I just cannot get past the price tag on the little guy. I want an original Envoy as well. Definitely will not shuck out that kind of money for a.308. This rifle was a basket case when I bought it. The rear sight axis pin ear on the bolt handle side was broken off and there was a hose clamp holding the stock to the barrel. The original barrel was cut down with a hacksaw and nothing else was done to clean it up. I have put various different stocks on this and it never,"looked right." I recrowned the hacksaw job and added a front sight. Did not look right. It was only when I found the .22 conversion kit that those little bells go off in my head. The PH5C and the PH FS21 front sight along with the tiny brass insert holder and it clicked! Started fitting the rifle with all the new goodies and there ya go. Now it,"looks right."
