   my good friend in WI had two that he acquired as strays when he was working here for DPMS - they both showed up at the shop door and someone figured it was his , brought them to him and because it was 20 below zero he took them home , named maveric and paylen - obviously you get a sense of when she came along , he came a year earlier , he out lived her by a couple years , just passed away this past fall so he was over 20years old 


i used to take care of them when he was traveling ,
