Shot in a M1 and Vintage Military Match today in Talladega, AL.  Temp 40 deg, winds 12 to 15 mph and gusty.  I didn’t get warm until the end of the match.

Not sure all the results are in yet, the match has been running all week.  8 relays of M1, Springfield and Vintage Military Rifle matches.  There is usually about 100 competitors from all over the country.

Some guy must have liked my No. 4, he filmed me shooting Prone Rapid and Standing Slow fire for one of the shooting TV shows, not sure which one.

I did OK with the No. 4, nowhere near my best, but not bad given the conditions.  280-7x (out of 300).   Shot on the SR Target at 200 yards.  Standing was a bit_h in that wind.   Many of you guys now know this target...we are using it on our Virtual Match.

The last two bikes I owned back in 1998 were the Kawasaki 660 street bike and the Suzuki RM250 dirt bike. I miss the Suzuki...

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
