It would be advisable for you to procure a full length stockset to use as an actual template first and foremost. eBay has a good selection under the heading, Enfield Stock or SMLE No1 stock.

he!!o all. I've owned my No.1 Mk.3 for a few years now, put many rounds through it and have even bagged 2 whitetails with it. The problem I have is that it's been sporterized. It only has the stock and half of the lower forestock, ending 2 inches before where the barrel band would go. I work for a clarinet manufacturer and have access to every tool I would need, CNC machines included, to make my own wood furniture. I want to make it myself to add that personal touch to my rifle, but I cannot seem to find any technical drawings or really any of the information I would need to get started. I was wondering if anyone here could either send me the info I need, or point me in the right direction. Thanks!
