Indeed it came with a 5 round magazine. It has a PH front sight and PH scope mounts and rings. Whether PH built it or not, I have no idea, it could have been built by a competent after market shop. Either/or, this rifle shoots dead straight and is reliable. It prefers 150 grain hunting rounds.

Very nice! I'm guessing from the front site and bobbed barrel the original conversion was done by Parker-Hale? Does it have a five shot magazine? I had the exact same front site with hood on a similar rifle.

I have a similar rifle, a LB 1945 sporter in a Fajen stock. My first Enfield from decades ago which has also harvested more deer than I can remember. I'll try find a photo of it in my archives.

Got an idea while looking at high end rifles. I have a really good shooting No4 in an old Fajen Monte Carlo walnut stock. Shoot tons of deer with it. I forget what model of Blaser, but the had replaced the ball on the bolt handle with a similar sized walnut one. Looked kinda cool... maybe a little too much bling for my rifle....
