Unknown marking

   Hi all!  I recently picked up a sporterized 1918 SSA peddle scheme that I plan on restoring.  The following “AC” stamp appears in several places on the receiver, barrel and rear sight base.  Does anyone recognize it or is it just the initials of a former owner or gun-club?Thanks in advance!
