if you elected another leftist that will follow in the past footsteps you are screwed , i get it there are too many inner city tytpes that live off the public ...but eventually there wll cxome a time when we have bled off all wer can from the taxpayers , they will die off and those in the cities will starve , in my mind cant happen too soon , the urbanites need to learn what it means to do without , we all know

That's the $26,000 question, isn't it Honk?  If Carney wants Canada to cozy up to China more than it already has there could be some pretty serious repercussions, especially in regards to defense.  The U.S. only sells it's latest and greatest equipment to countries that it trusts to not share our technology with our enemies. It's entirely possible that Carney won't have to back out of the F35 contract, the U.S. may refuse to sell them to Canada.  The problems for Canada could go even deeper than that.  Currently the RCN only has one oiler, the MV Asterix which with its partially civilian crew is forbidden to go into war zones.  Canada's two new oilers, the Protecteur class aren't in service yet so Canadian warships do UNREP with American auxilliary vessels.  I could quite easily see President Trump ordering the U.S. Navy to stop replenishing Canadian warships at sea.  It was only just recently that Australia purchased 400 of our top of the line AIM 120C an AIM 120D missiles for their aircraft and $7 Billion dollars worth of Standard missiles for their warships.  Canadian warships, other than the main deck gun utilize all American designed and manufactured weapons and weapon systems.  Unless they want to throw spitballs at the enemy Canada needs to negotiate the trade war with the U.S. very carefully.
