Krestan! Lamb & mutton are two different things..if you've ever cooked MUTTON in the house, you wont soon forget it!!
I've known quite a few WWII vets (mostly English) that still get upset when they think of those rations with MUTTON in it, back durin our 2nd whirl at war Hoadie |

My Christmas dinner was aces(as usual) Had a 25 1/4 lb foodservice Prime rib. 7 bones -Alberta beef, roasted REAL low & slow.Coupled that with some live lobsters, Yorkshire puddin, Garlic mashed spuds, au jus & gravy, morels in butter,with a nice velvety Shiraz.
Had my two boys, my dad & my Grandson.(course Ma & me lady as well) Don't get a whole lot better than that! Wish Rhino & Ed Hill hadda bin here(There was MORE than enough to go round!! Hoadie |

Dang, Hoadie, I wish we could have been there. We had 25 or so for Christmas eve, and a smaller group for Christmas dinner, beef Wellington and several nice Cabs.
We spent some time on the Navajo reservation and all the cafes have mutton stew on the menu, it's a traditional dish. And they do mean mutton. I always ordered it, but the wife and kids always looked for something else! Ed
