OK, GOT IT! The Z in a circle between those 2 rivets on the cross guard, screams Czech (ZB Brno Stamp), cause that's what it is! I missed that, So.. was thinking VZ24 Mauser but looks to be the shorter VZ22 For the 98/22 Mauser. Final Answer!?

Still a very cool bayonet to own.
I always look at all bayonets I see. You never know what you will find. I would be happy to find one like that. Thanks for sharing. |
