Shamu, The max OD of the eye piece is .75", I might have to raise the front sight as well, but I`m going to zero this rifle to 300yrds first and see if it`s needed or not. 300yrds seem to be the go to range for these old battle rifles, then learn and use hold over/under for shorter ranges. Hopefully the other parts will be here before I`m snowed in.....

I think you'll be OK the ones I'm having a fouling problem with are almost an inch thick & 0.95 ish diameter!

The goods have been released by customs, finally, hopefully be here by Friday, then back to getting this rifle up and running.
