I assume the way these are layed out the muzzle would face to the left & you'd' Loop up with your elbow in that sliding central loop somehow? Length & position for the elbow being adjusted with the frogs on the front & rear loops?

I believe that is the way. I have been trying unsuccessfully to find pictures of the original sling in use at a Bisley match...
