@Stanforth: that’s an interesting idea. Though I may have some trouble trying to get the wood/colour/finish to match the forestock but it’d be a neat project for sure.
@Hoadie: Haha I’d say that’s a dang good shot in the dark considering all the possibilities in Canada! Well, not much but still quite a bit. Good to meet a fellow Canadian here. So I found out the owner was the one who had the stock modified, so it is a one off job. He passed away and his child who inherited the rifle didn’t want to keep it so it got put up on consignment. I’ll take care of it and ensure it continues to be enjoyed for years to come. Thanks everyone for your input, I ended up ordering the rifle and it should be in my hands by the end of the week. I’ll post more pics if you’re interested.
