   What can anyone tell me about a bayonet that has ENFIELD 1876 stamped on the blade near the crosspiece??

	Pics, preferably, or at least more detailed descriptions of the appearance, condition, measurements, etc., will likely help tremendously.

	Suspect it is a "Khyber Pass Special", or a made up bayonet. Enfield did not use that type of marking, and the date is way off(too early) for that type of bayonet. Is it from Afghanistan?

	i agree here , that little symbol above the marking is suspect as well ,
