Rugby...strange shaped ball.
Lacrosse..now theres a sport!! (Canada's national sport, btw) Here, most of the players are aboriginals (it is/was their game). They will take you out in a painful way - if your white. But, they hate "apples" even worse!!(That would be an aboriginal that lives off the "res". They consider them "Red on the outside - but White on the inside".(aka: apple) If you play lacrosse with them, they will put you into a whole new world of hurt..but it sure is a great sport to watch!! (If you like blood-sports)

I hear when the first Europeans arrive "The People" used to call them "needs salt and cook till tender"
Maybe that is just a family joke. |

A score + years ago I frequented an Irish pub. Step off a Chicago street and you were in Ireland. The southern part. I liked Guinness pints and darts.
On the TV they often showed the field game of hurling. A fast and furious game some 3000 years old. The players all have bats with a kinda ping pong paddle end (hurley) and a ball that they hit towards a goal. Not much body protection considering all the players are running around blocking and swinging bats. Lotsa injuries. I've seen (college) Lacrosse and it looks sort of tame by comparison, though both require a lot of stamina and testosterone.

Hoadie
I also played twice a week. One night for cash. At least enough for the bar tab. The other night was on a team for a place called Kilkenny Castle. Dirty cricket was my game. |

I just play lawn darts with rifle grenades or flaming tennis ball if it is dark.

Me and my buds like playing 'blow up some tannerite inside old TV sets'. Very entertaining, quite loud but we haven't attracted the attention of any law enforcement, yet. Not really a team sport but close enough.

That sounds like the best use of a TV that I can think of! Do you shot it with a Enfield? |

Any firearm that has a muzzle velocity over 2000 FPS will ignite it but to answer your question, yes I use the Enfields sometimes.
