That's a really nice piece of wood. How long would a project like this take?

I would love to have my LB done with Arizona Ironwood (Mesquite). I even have the wood from a section off of the Ironwood tree in the ex wife's backyard. The rifle would look fantastic...

Goosic. Would that wood be heavier than what's currently on your rifle?

It would have to be suitably strong AND suitably hard as well. Plus it would need to be cut correctly originally. I've always wondered about fiddle-back maple for one |

The current wood on the rifle is walnut. Arizona Ironwood is a little denser and a little heavier. Smells wonderful in a camp fire...

If I were to supply you with the Ironwood, what is your labor price to produce a stock set such as the one I provided in the earlier photo and what would be the turn around time involved???

when it comes to value of a gun? That gun is worth whats it’s worth to you!!!! If your dream gun is a cooey with exhibition grade wood? than do it! I don’t think myself there is any gun that isn’t worthy of it ... life is short have your sprinkles on your favorite ice cream.. my turn around time is my standard answer.. it takes me as long as it takes me.. of course I’d like to say it takes a few weeks but every project is unique and I approach them as so.. I am a fussy artist as well a craftsman..

Let me rephrase the question.
I have a rifle. That rifle is a 1942 Lee Enfield No4Mk1*(shown in earlier photo.)I also have a block of Arizona Ironwood. I am looking for someone that has the talent to turn the wood into usable furniture for the above said 1942 Lee Enfield No4Mk1* rifle. If you sir,are capable of such craftsmanship and are supplied the necessary lumber to create the aforementioned stock set. What would be your total End User pricing be??
