A nice visual of what A Square was explaining. The blue bits are Democratic counties the red Republican. If the election was decided by popular vote instead of electoral votes the blue bits would have decided the president. The blue bits are generally the high and condensed population, high crime, illegal alien, and free stuff locations.

You'd think the sun didn't come up, or sumpthin. The "Boy Blunder - aka: Trudope II - has gone into damage control with his cabinet, trying to appease the Donald. Now - after he dissed the guy, didn't attend the inauguration, & went on a vacation instead of meeting with 'Merican politcos..he's spinning-out trying to save NATA. (He's a master at closing the barn door after the horse gets out!)

thanks 25-6 the visual did communicate my thinking better than the words , well said my friend , ive noticed the "party of inclusion and tolerance" has a real low tolerance for inclusion , one thing they did not count on is the populations tolerance level for those that break the law and think themselves imune , i see a law enforcement shift in the wings here , not so much the thin blue line as the judicial systems prosecution approach , i think rioters and looters may well see their time growing short , im looking forward to seeing the "real trump" emerging from the 'media manipulator' he was during the campaign - not that he will quit controlling the media , i think he takes pleasure in that , but i believe we are starting to see the businessman showing through , the democrat grifters and both sides political hacks are about to see their jobs change , if they want to survive , the inside beltway has just seen a diet coming

I think that he will do well.
What I don't understand is all the fuss from the Democrats just because they lost fare and square. Putting into question you election prcoess just because you loose is; well, err! for looser's. If they cannot accept the rules, why do they even play the game. The next 4 years will be very interesting for all; not just the USA, because it is the central figure of the world stage |

Its a mindset. Facts are irrelevant feelings trump all else.
I have friends who still are whining & will probably continue to do so for 8 years, about how they were somehow "cheated". Once pinned down that they don't know how, but they "feel it" they switch topics to things like Trumps election crowd was smaller than Obama's. Once its pointed out to them that their feelings are irrelevant as is crowd size because Trump IS POTUS, no matter if the like it or not, they get violently abusive. In their minds the fact that the system has worked since the 1800's has nothing to do with the fact its "broken" because they lost, but was working fine every time they won.  |

just thinking out-loud: Methinks we are nearing a "tipping-point". As automation & A.I. seem to be taking over..fewer & fewer people around the world have jobs. The jobs that are there are now low wage. Even China & India are feeling the pinch. Yet, because of this, the rich are getting richer, & a huge chasm is growing twixt have & have-not. The people are resenting the rich. Too many poor, unemployed frustrated people - the world over - will begin to rebel. The people blame immigration for their loss of jobs/income. Now, I fear the planet has too many people. Before the rich are hauled-out in the street, I think there will be a nasty war to "cull the herd", & bring the population to a manageable level. (I hope I'm wrong.)

Yes it is. There's a line from "Men In Black" that I think sums it up pretty well. "A person can be smart, but people are dumb. Dumb people panic & do stupid things"! What worries me is they are totally suffering from fear of what they have been told may, not will happen. I have a couple of liberal reformed Jewish friends, they admit to being "Jewish, but not so much practicing as observing" (whatever that means) I guess the kosher equivalent of Christian HMD churchgoers? They are convinced the following will happen in the next 3 months now Trump is POTUS. Nazi anti-Semite laws a la Germany in 1936, including deportation to FEMA concentration camps. Mass deportation out of the country of "all immigrants" (even those who are 3rd gen, American born children of Legal Immigrants who were Naturalized). Repeal of all women's rights laws back to "1960's standards" "Negro peoples" being reduced to 100% segregation including KKK lynchings by "Alt-Right Neo-Nazi thugs" (read that as you & me)! 100% removal of all health benefits because the reason Obamacare is being repealed is so that "natural selection will breed out the mud peoples by rampant disease"!  How do you communicate rationally with people who are thinking this way? |

just so we are clear - if they had won like they expected to there would be nothing wrong with the election system at all ,
i had visions of what BO was going to do when he was elected , i didnt demonstrate or riot and that is just a fact , some of what i thought came true , but we will survive , the libs gotta quit being such fatalists this transition and adjustment has occurred over and over without the world ending , even tho we may have gotten close a few times , they forget it was kennedy that took us to the brink with the nukes over cuba this country has to reset every so often to stay normal ,

Well, My Temper would not allow me to have that job !!! Like My Brother in Law said , if you cant keep calm you can not be in the Patriot Guard !! and he is the calmest person I know next to my older Brother in Kansas !!! I know what your going to say Hoadie ! You seem to think Im a nice and calm kinda guy !!! thats a few years of learned behavior !!! LOL!! Greg has suffered 2 black eyes and a broken nose from me getting pissed off , he even says I busted a beer bottle over his head once !!!! Des said I did, I dont remember !!! Uh ? Oh Well , maybe I did maybe I didnt !!! I dont remember !!! But I do remember that broke nose and black eyes !! Because I sat in lock up at the MP station waiting on our Company commander to come sign us out !!! I was not that drunk that night...only drank half a 5th of southern comfort and about 10 German wheat beers !!! I was just a little tipsy !! |
